PayAsYouThrow.org is a project of the Recycling Foundation and is supported by forward-thinking organizations that believe in the power of pay-as-you-throw for municipal waste reduction.
The Recycling Foundation is a North Carolina-based charitable and educational foundation. Its mission is to educate the public regarding environmental impacts of solid waste pollution and promote and administer waste reduction and recycling solutions that combat the community deterioration associated with solid waste pollution.
We are committed to providing municipal leaders, community organizers, and residents with the information, data, and best practices they need to reduce waste in their communities in ways that are truly meaningful, financially sustainable, and environmentally beneficial.
